KPIX’s O’Donnell Embracing Working from Home During the Coronavirus Crisis

"We got back to basics. We're all cooped up in the same house. We do things together. Last night, we watched Arthur together....we play corn hole, we cook breakfast together so in a funny way, it's a good bonding experience during this terrible time."

Emmy Award winning sports anchor Dennis O’Donnell from KPIX

The COVID-19 Pandemic has caused all businesses to adjust to stay afloat, including broadcasting. Emmy Award winning sports anchor Dennis O’Donnell from San Francisco’s KPIX is working from home in Auburn as part of the social distancing strategy to slow the spread of the virus. While many grumble at the thought of being cooped up for an extended period of time, O’Donnell chooses to look at the bright side to connect with his family on a deeper level along with some TV binge watching. The San Francisco State grad shows you can return home again and discusses how he finds joy in helping others as a broadcast professor. O’Donnell also talks to Dave about the challenges in working remotely and how the job description changes during this time of crisis.
