Independent pro wrestler “Wonderboy” Brian Morris

As an upper classman at Elon University in North Carolina, Brian Morris was at a personal crossroad. The color commentator for Phoenix men’s basketball was on the path to becoming a professional broadcaster. With a work ethic, dedication and knowledge of sports, Dave witnessed first-hand what the aspiring talent could bring to the table as a top notch announcer. One problem: he always dreamed of being a professional wrestler. “Wonderboy” details his journey to the ring with a supportive family that encourages him to follow his passion. The COVID pandemic caused him to do some serious soul searching on a future career. He talks about his wrestling role models, fitness training and the marketing it takes to get to the next level. No topic is off limits, including frequency of chest waxing for the rising star. Enjoy!
