Bill Herenda Breaks Down the NBA Finals and the Silencing of Drake
"It'll certainly give Durant a clear vision of what he'd be leaving behind, if he indeed does leave. Because this is rarefied air, right? Five straight Finals and it would be four (titles) in five years and three-peat. And even for Leonard, to say, 'Hey, this is working. We've gotten to the Finals'....I think winning has an effect on decision-making. I don't think there's any question about that. You know what you have here."
"I think it's foolish to believe that teams don't have some type of dysfunction within them regardless of their record and place in the standings. And this, obviously has gone public But I feel this is more trending toward a bump in the road than an implosion because those guys realize how special it is what they have and I think they'll be hungry to rekindle it and get back to that level of play soon.
"You could have had a million dollars but money didn't mean a thing in there. Very scary situation where it could have been a lot worse than it was. There was death, rapes, drug use and fear of war between the locals and the cops that almost took place."
